Another SSYFC player signs with a professional club (06/11/2006)

Jonny Broadstock signed for Preston North End this weekend after a succesfull trial. He has been with team since under 10's. A credit to the team, himself and parents. All the club want to wish him all the best for his future football, remember us when your famous mate.
E aster Tournament (09/04/2007)

SSYFC represented the Mechanics for the first time. In the league stages we won 2 drawn 1 and lost 1. The semi we won by default but we gave our goal to Sam Biddle who picked the ball up at the edge of his own box, beat 7 players then juggled it for 5 mins then from 30 yards hit an overhead kick into the top corner.
The final was played against the Irish and was won 2-0, with Tom and Sam scoring
