Poulton Youth 0

SS Reds produced their best performance of the season so far with a superb display of passing football.

We got off to the best of starts with Drakey producing a bit of magic to put us in front in the first minute. We soon doubled the lead after a great move involving Kieran, Nathie and Andy was finished well by JT. We continued to create chances and but for the Poulton keeper we could have had the game won by half time. As it was we did score a third before the break when another piece of Drakey magic created space and time for himself to drill the ball into the net. While our attacking play was superb the boys at the back coped with everything which was thrown their way.
The second half was pretty much the same as the first with SS dominating and continuing to create chance after chance. Nathie was particularly unlucky not to get on the scoresheet with the keeper saving every effort he had.
SS fourth came courtesy of JT after he took up a great position and cooly slotted the ball past the keeper. Our fifth and JT's hat trick came soon after. Drakey continued to run the defence ragged right up until the final whistle.

Well done boys, and on the back of this performance we should be able to push on next year.
